Bitcoin Blast is a free mobile game that allows you to earn very small amounts of Bitcoin by playing. Most of the time, when you hear of games that promise to pay you, you immediately think of scams. But Bitcoin Blast is legit and has high ratings, so I decided to give it a try.
So is Bitcoin Blast worth your time? This review will tell you why it's good and why it's bad.

Bitcoin Blast is a puzzle-based game similar to Candy Crush. Players can make a free account and earn small amounts of Bitcoin without spending any money. You won't earn much, but it is legit and you can cash out Bitcoin in as little as 30 minutes of playing.
It's available on the iOS and Google Play Store in most countries. The game has racked up over 5 million downloads and an average 4.5-star rating.

Is Bitcoin Blast Legitimate?
Many play-to-earn apps can be scams but Bitcoin Blast is legitimate. You can cash out Bitcoin once your balance reaches 1,000 Bling. I personally cashed out the equivalent of $0.04 after 45 minutes of playing. You won't earn meaningful income, but it's real.
The developer also has many other play-to-earn games. In 2021, they paid out $1 million worth of Bitcoin to players. Plus, the company is backed by venture capital firms like Coinbase Ventures and more.

How Do You Play?
The Sign Up Process
I like it because you can start earning within 30 seconds. Simply download the app and create an account. All you need to get started is an email address and password - no KYC or verification process is required. After you have a Bling account, you can play all of their games.
The Gameplay
It's a puzzle-based game similar to Candy Crush. Bling Points are earned as you beat levels, which you can exchange for Bitcoin later on. You can only play one level every 24 hours and there are over 100 levels, which get more difficult as you progress. After every level, you have to watch a long ad, which is annoying, but I guess that's how you get paid.
How Much Can You Earn?
During my 45-minute session, I earned $0.04 and cashed out to Coinbase with no hassle. I earned 161,784 Bling which was exchanged for 0.00000162 Bitcoin. Though it's not a lot, I was surprised I was able to make anything and withdraw so quickly.
Expect to earn very little with Bitcoin Blast. In their own words, "Most users earn an amount that is only worth a fraction of one cent (USD)." Your earnings will also depend on how much you play, what score you get, and the price of Bitcoin.
Can You Cash Out?
Although you won’t make much, you can cash out with Bitcoin Blast and get paid within 48 hours. A Coinbase account is required and the minimum balance you need to cash out is 1,000 Bling.

Is KYC Required to Play or Cash Out?

For those who just want to play games for fun, you might as well make money doing so. However, you will have to sit through boring ads. If money is your primary goal, you should search for better opportunities.
